Guild Wars is a game where you do not need money to get good stuff. It's not fair that farmers/bots/ebayers get advantages over everyone else.

FOW armor does have advantages. They all happen to be psychological. No disrespect intended, but if you don't understand this then you should read a primer on psychology or cognitive theory.

Changing FOW armor without changing all other armor wouldhave huge unintended consequences.

Any time I see someone in FOW armor I always say "nice armor". both to compliment them on their hard work and to encourage more of theat silly behavior.

If they did then they'd have to make a 1.5k version of FoW armor for the rest of us. You must be thinking this is an outragous idea. Just trying to prove a point.

Guild Wars is a game based on skill. Why else do you think ANet spend so much time balancing this game. No armor will ever be given an advantage over another just because it costs more. With FoW you are paying for the appearance simple as that.

The reward of FoW armor is the fact that it's really hard to obtain, and not everyone can get it. Besides, in PvE, you only need 1-2 sets of armor types.

It would have to be balanced to offer us 1.5k armor the same sort of ability to keep thing balanced.. which defeats the purpose of making it FOW exclusive.
